With close to three decades of experience in the flooring industry — beginning with an apprenticeship as a teenager — Dean has amassed a wealth of knowledge surrounding flooring. It only takes a few minutes of talking to him to realise his passion for flooring and dedication to customer service.
Having worked as a tradesman for 10 years before working on the sales and retail side of flooring, Dean has the unique advantage of fully understanding all facets of flooring. Beyond his extensive knowledge of flooring itself, Dean can help customers decide if a certain type of flooring is appropriate for their space, what type of issues should be considered based on the current flooring, foot-traffic conditions, subflooring, and more.
With his customer-centric attitude, Dean prides himself on approaching customer interactions from a tradesman’s point of view, not a salesman. He has one concern: fitting the right person with the right product. If a certain type of flooring is a poor fit, he will not recommend it — even if it means losing a sale. It is this attitude that allows Dean to truly focus on what will be best for each customer.
Holding an FCIA (Flooring Covering Institute of Australia) license and possessing the highest level of certification and a Platinum Trade Card, there is no one more qualified to help you determine the perfect flooring plan for your space, answer any questions, or go over the details of any of the products we offer.
His passion lies in helping people navigate the sometimes overwhelming process of choosing new flooring and deciding whether or not to install it themselves.
